Ideal for Green Architecture
It is no trade secret that Outdoor Venetian Blinds provides the optimal energy saving in terms of heat reduction. It keeps the heat out and provides high level of comfort to occupant indoor. Spurred by its green factor, inspiring architectures – homes and offices, are quickly adopting out exterior venetian blinds as its dynamic facade
A responsive design in our changing environment
Calibration of daylight penetration and privacy instantly creates responsive designs in the changing environment. Engineered to withstand climatic conditions, the envelope is clothed with premium quality slat enhanced with specialty coating for durability. Integration with motorised controls eases user.
Reflects substantial amount of solar irradiance even before it hits the window
With outdoor venetian blinds, closed to 90% of solar irradiance is kept out of the room. Acting as the first layer of protection before the window, exterior venetian blinds reflects substantial amount of solar irradiance even before it hits the window. Thereby keeping the indoor environment cool and providing maximum comfort to the occupant. The aluminium slats of the exterior venetian blinds can be rotated to different angle to effectively reflect solar irradiance and to control the amount of natural light entering the room. External roller blinds harmonises natural and artificial lighting. For a full unobstructed view out, simply retract the blinds fully.
It is compulsory for exterior venetian blinds system to have a guiding mechanism on its side. With Tension Cable Guide – both sides of the exterior venetian blinds system are firmly fixed. It helps to hold the aluminum slats in place and to guides the slats during movement, preventing the slats from damaging when strong wind strikes.
Designed for outdoor usage, outdoor venetian blinds are made from robust material, using strong extruded aluminum head rail, highly flexible and elastic aluminum slats with superior quality coating. Equiluxe uses 316 marine grade stainless steel components to address to the harsh weather condition.
Another option is aluminium guide rails which are fixed at both sides of the exterior roller blinds system. It helps to hold the aluminium slats in place and guide the slats during movement, preventing the slats from damaging during strong wind condition.
Guide rail is recommended in situation where wind condition is high. The guide rails can be integrated seamlessly into the architectural structure to provide a clean and neat facade outlook. The guide rail when used with special extruded aluminium slats provides good dark out effect to the room when the aluminium slats are fully closed.
Different size (ranging from 80mm to 150mm*)
A wider slats provide better light control and visibility out
Wide spectrum of colour selection for slats
Aluminium slats can be manufactured in different colour to fit any facade esthetic.
Special extruded slats to achieve dark-out effect
Designed to provide good overlapping effect between slats when it is fully closed. This overlapping effect coupled with the guide rail at the side is set to achieve a good dark-out effect indoor.
